Terms of service

Last updated 3 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Bigshot, the macOS app, and of bigshot.pics. Bigshot is made by Jaywalk Labs AB (org. no. 556997-3109, VAT SE556997310901), Sweden. In these terms, “we” means Jaywalk Labs AB. By downloading Bigshot or buying a licence, you agree to them.

Buying a licence

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the payment.

The price is shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Paddle adds sales tax or VAT where it applies. A licence is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and nothing renews automatically.

What a licence gives you

  • A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Bigshot's licensed features (Projects, screenshot memory with OCR, and Hooks) on up to 2 Macs at a time. You can move a seat to another Mac from the licence page.
  • Every version released in the 12 months after you buy. The last version your licence covers keeps working with no time limit. You can renew to get newer versions.
  • Capture, the editor and the island’s recent captures are free for anyone, with or without a licence.

What you may not do

  • Share, sell or publish your licence key, or use it on more Macs than it allows.
  • Get around the licence check, or resell or redistribute Bigshot.
  • Reverse engineer Bigshot, except where the law allows it regardless of this term.

If a licence key is shared publicly or used in breach of these terms, we may revoke it.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. See the refund policy.

Your content and third-party tools

Your screenshots stay on your Mac. They are yours, and we do not get a copy. If you set up a Hook or screenshot context for Claude Code, Codex, the Anthropic API or the OpenAI API, Bigshot passes your captures to those tools on your instruction. Those services are provided by their makers under their own terms, and you are responsible for what you send to them.

Warranty and liability

Bigshot is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or suit every purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes do not take away anything you have already bought.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the consumer law where you live. Questions: support@bigshot.pics. See also our privacy policy.
